if i was to modify the the pull of my trigger to only 1/4" pull. causing the gun to bump fire very easily. would that be illegal even tough each shot is a individual pull of the trigger.

the stock seems to be outside of the letter of the law but the law leaves enough wiggle room to allow one to be arrested and charged under the good faith and understanding that get the police off the hook whenever they are uninformed
also you have to look how far they stretched the billyclub definiton to include any blunt object(yet they do not go after the seller of said objects if they are so defined)
this is not a prudent battle although i dislike "out team" stipulating that is is already illegal offering aid and comfort to the enemy
instead they should say until it is hashed out in court we recommend strongly not to explore this deviceComment

If you have to ask if it is legal or illegal in CA, it is illegal and it will likely call for mandatory prison time measured in double digit years.sigpic

But if someone wants one, take the Penal Code and a description of the stock to a lawyer and ask about legality before you buy.
Here's the risk:Choose wisely.any person in this state who
manufactures or causes to be manufactured, imports into the state,
keeps for sale, or offers or exposes for sale, or who gives,
lends, or possesses any multiburst trigger activator is
punishable by imprisonment in a county jail not exceeding one
year or in the state prison.ARCHIVED Calguns Foundation Wiki here: http://web.archive.org/web/201908310...itle=Main_Page
Frozen in 2015, it is falling out of date and I can no longer edit the content. But much of it is still good!Comment

and bear in mind that "multiburst trigger activator" is a defined term. it doesn't have to produce what YOU think a "burst" means, and it doesn't have to actually interact with the trigger -- it's just a label.
As used in this part, a "multiburst trigger activator" means either of the following:
(a) A device designed or redesigned to be attached to a semiautomatic firearm, which allows the firearm to discharge two or more shots in a burst by activating the device.
(b) A manual or power-driven trigger activating device constructed and designed so that when attached to a semiautomatic firearm it increases the rate of fire of that firearm..Comment

yea it has to be all of a or all of b you cant mix and match the wordings of a and b to make it definedComment

I keep seeing this one dumbass at Angeles using one, but every time I try and warn him, he swears that "not storing it installed is legal". I just shake my head and wonder how that makes sense in his mind, then move my setup awayGreater love has no one than this: to lay down one's life for one's friendsComment

You should definitely buy one, use it, and then tell us all about how slidefire came to your defense and how youre now a champion of gun rights, because CGF wont defend slidefire cases.i believe slidefire said if anyone in ca gets into legal trouble while using their product they will help defend in court. they have also stated that no one has ever been charged in ca for a possession or use violation of their product. personally, i would not want to be the first test subject in court.Originally posted by KestryllThis guy is a complete and total idiot.

If the trigger resets itself without you moving your finger forward, it is probably a trigger activator, because it (sorry if the terminology is wrong) reconnected the trigger and the hammer without you moving your finger.
(b) A manual or power-driven trigger activating device constructed and designed so that when attached to a semiautomatic firearm it increases the rate of fire of that firearm.
"rate of fire" is a scary term, but must activate the trigger.
A solenoid operated trigger and a momentary switch could be construed to increase the rate of fire, if it is faster than your finger
I'd rather find something that cycles my bolt without using the energy of the cartridge to fall out of pistol "semi-automatic" definition for handgun rostering.
But still, one pull of the trigger, has to only fire one projectile/bullet (remain disconnected) until you move your finger forward relative to the rest of your hand, regardless of what the firearm is doing internally or relative to the grip.__________
Now happy with my muzzelite ruger 10/22 bullpup stock.Comment
