not sure where to post this, but I asked on another forum so I will just copy and paste:
A bit early for this as I wouldnt leave till next summer, but I already applied to my schools ( 3 ) and am just waiting on the other for a response.
one of the things I am concerned about is firearm storage, I have a handgun and rifle I want to take with me because the areas I am looking at have good hunting, and are situated within national forest.
Both Idaho and Montana have on campus storage, but the school I am looking at the hardest is Northern Arizona University, they have no where to store a gun for students unless you own a car ( you can store it in your vehicle on campus)
Does anyone have any options of storing a firearm, or anyone live in Flagstaff, AZ that knows of somewhere to store em?
I have thought of self storage, but the thought of a break-in doesnt ring to well, another I have heard is storing them with a gun store or range.
any suggestions?
thanks,
-Adam
edit: while not a deal breaker because I am really there for their program, it is quite a let down as the main reason I am leaving california is because of firearm laws, general contempt for peoples rights and the way the economy is going here and a big part of what I do outside of school is hunting, shooting and reloading,.
