    Holster advice

Picked up my M&P9 FS this week and need a holster for open carry. Eventually I will need a concealed carry holster, as well. Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm left handed.

I've seen some of those thigh holsters for open carry. Are those comfortable?

I have a full size M&P and if I'm carrying OWB, I haven't found a rig that I like better than my Raven Concealment Phantom. Could be because I have a TLR-1 mounted to it, and this holster allows me to carry that setup. I dunno, but it gets my vote.

You choice of holster will depend on what you're wearing and what you're comfortable with. I'd buy a few different cheap holster types to find what you like and then invest in a quality one.

Hey guys thanks for the advice. I've already bought a couple of holsters. I see what you mean, JDay, by what you wear and how it makes a difference.
