No green tip nonsense for the .30 cals... these must be black tip AP bullets pulled from 30-06 rounds if they have steel or tungsten carbide cores.

Is there any 7.62 Nato armor piercing anywhere on the market, or do we have to load them ourselves?

Excellent point as I've found that one round punches through concrete block enough that the second round has a hole to go through.

Don't know much about the ammo as that came with the rifle when I bought it. It has unusual case stampings that I cannot identify...most likely Russian or foreign 7.62x51. Impressive what it does to steel plate though!

Any 308 round will burn right through 1/8" steel. Nice rifle, I'm thinking of switching to wood on my scout.
