Well I'd say no one wants to be a test case for an interpretation of an unclear law. As I read the law it wouldn't be illegal but real lawyers have said it's a definite no go.

How is the slidefire stock a "trigger activating device"? The slidefire never touches the trigger, your finger does.(B) A manual or power-driven trigger activating device constructed and designed so that when
attached to a semiautomatic firearm it increases the rate of fire of that firearm.
How does the slidefire "increase the rate of fire"? The rate of fire on a semi auto is what exactly? The speed at which you can activate the trigger with your finger?
