    Wont Ship.

Doesn't it piss you off when some guy all hell and gone has a gun you want and, for some stupid reason, wont ship it?

if its all legal, then question you should be asking is "would money help grease the wheels?"

It usually does. That not good enough for you? His right as a seller to do things his way.

Of course a seller will do things his way, the question is Why.

Could be a number of reasons. Laziness on the seller's part, doesnt want to take on the risk, doesnt want to pay for it, doesnt want to tack on to the cost then make YOU pay for it (sounds stupid, I know).

Some legitimate, some less so, some easily circumvented.

In all things, money USUALLY talks.

I was prepared to pay a good deal over typical gunbroker prices for a rifle on there because I discovered it was being sold by a guy just down the street. Pay $100 more than gunbroker pricing gets the seller more money, and saves me at LEAST $50 on taxes and fees doing a PPT.

In my case, as a seller, I sold a rifle then discovered the guy's shop wont take guns from an individual. Great. Well, my local shops will ship for me, but for an additional $75. that's bullcrap. The buyer even offered to pay for it. I already had the auction padded to $60 for shipping because there were multiple shipments (including ORM-D). I found an FFL that shipped it for $25 and only took a $25 hit on my take, because that was the better option for me conducting business than to demand my buyer pay additional money over our preagreed upon (and killer, frankly) price.

But that's how I conduct my own business. The buyer was clearly willing to "grease the wheels" to make it a done deal if needed. Which I appreciated.

Just walk away and do not let it ruin your day/life. Do not sweat the small things you will get an ulcer.

Extra $20 should grease the elbow if you know what I mean.
