Hello Everyone,

The Addax Tactical Website is now active and we are open for business.

Let me know what you guys think of the new website and please let me know if you notice anything that requires attention.
We carry / showcase over 750 products from over 50 well known manufacturers.

There are 3 of us that run the operation.

Chris (Owner/Founder)
Raffi (My Cousin and Junior Partner)

We are a family operated business, and we treat all of our customers as if they are a part of our family.

Over the next few weeks, we will be adding more products and several more mfg's to our website.

We set up a Warehouse and Workshop in the SFV where we operate from daily and where we will assemble and build our own line of AR Gas Piston Uppers, the ADDAX GPU (based on the PWS Gas Piston System), as well as Gas Piston System retrofits.

The ADDAX GPU launch will be in approx. 1 week, and you will be able to order the different configurations on our website.

We currently carry approx. 400 products in stock between our warehouse in So Cal., and our distributor’s warehouses, from uppers to parts kits to AK parts etc...

There are products on our website that may have a longer lead time than 10 business days, and we will treat these products as special order/back order products. We will still take your order, but we will notify you first and provide several order options before we process any of these types of orders.

We know how back logged the some of the manufacturers are with production, and unfortunately this causes delays and back orders that we cannot control.

We will do everything in our power to effectively and efficiently get any products that you order from us that are back ordered with the mfg. as soon as possible.

We will also continue to bring new product into stock whenever we can.

We also set up a Customer VIP Discount program which we will enable for each customer after they join our website.

This will provide specific discounts to each customer, and the more you buy as time goes on, the higher you discount level becomes.

Calguns.net Members please notify us when you sign up that you are a Calguns.net member and provide us your user name on Calguns so we can verify who you are, and we will set the appropriate Calguns.net member discount for you.

Please Note:

When you contact us with your first order, and you let us know you are a Calguns.net member, we will manually apply the discount price on your first order before we charge your credit card, and this new price will be reflected on your invoice.

After the first transaction, your account will be set up with the discount and will apply automatically when you log back in (after we have activated your discount profile).

Which Internet program are you using? IE or FF?

I use Firefox and it works on my end, and my web developer uses IE.

I will look into this in the meantime.

Please tell me that you have some Magpul UBR's in stock. I hate ordering then having to wait because of no backorder notification on your site. Let me know.

Trust me I understand how you feel.

I have over 20 UBR's on order, and we are overdue by approx. 1 week already.

Since UBR's are sporadically available (along with many other products we showcase), we are not going to constantly turn the back order buttons on and off.

The products we know that are going to be on extended back order (i.e. 30+ days, except for uppers and barrels), we will place a Back Order notification, or possibly disable it from view on the website.

I know some might not agree with this, but we are going to notify every customer of ETA's if a product is 10 business days or longer for a delivery ETA, we will provide our customers options before we process the order and fully charge the credit card.

Please tell me that you have some Magpul UBR's in stock. I hate ordering then having to wait because of no backorder notification on your site. Let me know.

Nice site.. but I noticed two issues that would keep me from placing a order.

Contact info:
With the amount of fraud that occurs on the internet, I'd be reluctant to order from a site that does not provide a address and phone number. Your current protocol gives the impression you are screening who you want to talk to.

Returns/ Guarantees/ Shipping:
Your policies seem to really "stick it the customer." For example, if you accidentally shipped a upper with the wrong configuration/ model or even a out of spec part, now the customer would have to pay the return shipping AND be penalized 20% if they choose not to give you a second chance. I'd imagine you would tell me to call the original manufacturer or spend $$$ to send it back to you based on the way your policy is outlined.

This if of course just speculation based on what I can see and without regards to your Calguns reputation.

Two Quick Questions, Your Micro Drag Bag.... Ive been looking for a case like that for a long time now . I like to carry my AR in a takedown configuration. (Upper and lower In two seperate compartments). How is the divider held on inside the case?

I do appreciate the feedback, and I will get our Customer Serivce / Returns page ammended tonight to state the following:

"If Addax Tactical for any reason screws up your order, (i.e. misconfiguration or the incorrect product was shipped vs. what was ordered), Addax Tactcial will take care of the return shipping charges."

I will also ammend the 20% restocking fee to reflect that this is only for customer cancels for any products that have already shipped that the customer wants to return, and that we will not apply any restocking fees for product returns due to anything we screw up on your order.

Trust me, I am the last person to want to "Stick it to the Customer".

As far as giving our location etc.

We are going to post our PO Box and Office, Fax phone numbers tonight.
That was not an oversight, just something on the to do list that still needs to be done.

I will not be posting my physical address since we are not a retail shop, and the owner of the building from whom we are leasing our office/warehouse from has made us sign a contract stating that we will not be conducting business as a retail store with full customer access, and that we are ok for customer drop off's and will calls by appointment only.

The building owner is a 150% firearms nut and supporter, but from a liablity persepective he does not want retail traffic, and it is his building and property, so I have to abide by his conditions.

It is not hard to find our physical address on line via Google, some folks already found us that way.

We are signed up with Authorize.net (still working on getting the logo integrated into our website and Commodo which provides us our SSL Cert. as you see on the website.

You can call the office anytime at 818-886-5008, Raffi and I are there pretty much everyday, and if we are not, just leave a vm and we will call you back.
