Got some disappointing news form the Dr.

Went to see the Dr. ( Dr death ) today and got some bad news.

He was out of BLACK lowers. I had a 9am appointment w/him for this, and driving 6 hours round trip without receiving my Prescription was a bummer.

Ok for those that would make an extended drive like me, make SURE he has the part before you go, as all the black units were gone on Sun.

He did offer to let me drive to Vacaville to pick up part from the platers, or wait till 4pm for delivery, but that would add a significant amount of time to my already long trip, and had to be back by 3pm.

It wasn't going to work out. But he is a very nice guy, and the shop has all that you'll want to handle all your needs for machine work...

Good luck on your build, but do check first, even if you have made plans for this...

Well it's like this it's my 1st time so you want it the way you want it, ya know ?
I just was looking to see how this all go's, and if it went well, ( were talking entire build ) then I'd be up for another, and who know's how I'll want it next time, could be color/camo/or any combo of ideas.

but first one is the way I wanted or not at all.

I don't follow. Make a bunch of the damn things who cares the color. 6 hours round trip LMAO. The whole point is to make a pistol anyways since its getting registered or you risk jail time.

Seriously why didn't you just get a raw one and send it off to get anodized. 6 hours of gas in my car is about $70...screw that noise.

That's why I use the car, trucks and other gas pigs suck to much full to hall your carcass around for picking up something that weighs less than a pound.

I'm pulling 51.9 MPG. But thanks for you concern...
