If I'm reading his post correctly, that's 6 cents/round. That's a heck of a lot cheaper than 17 cents/round, which is what I've seen 22LR selling for online.

the last time i tried to get 22lr at the gun show it was 60 bucks a brick. i did not buy it. i had about 3 bricks but with 2 grandsons shooting my 22 pistol and my savage rifle they can go thru a lot of 22 real fast.

WE are building a rifle and pistol range for members at our local hunting club and I keep some ammo up there for the kids that don't have any or very little.

I walked into my local WM yesterday since its right next to my bank just to see what they might have. I couldn't believe my eyes to see 2 completely full ammo cases. For the first time in nearly a year, I saw .22lr on a WM shelf. There were 2 bricks of Federal .22 (550 ct.) and the guy in front of me left them. So I split them with the guy that walked in right behind me and grabbed 2 boxes of 9mm to make my 3 box limit. Went back today and picked up another 3 boxes of 9 and will continue this until the 200 boxes or so are gone!

Redwood City and Menlo Park stores are Tuesday mornings. Good luck with either one. They have people lining up in the morning before the store opens. Sunnyvale is on Fridays.
