    ruger p series?

other than the weight of the ruger p series the reviews are great and the cost is comparable to any other hand gun in its class SO why is the resale so very very low compared to other guns in it class?

its low? most private party people are charging $400 plus for a p95 thats used because they're so darn hard to find in a shop new. I waited 3 months for mine from turners before i cancelled my order and got a AR instead. they used to run in turners sales ads all the time for like $320.
    I don't own any guns...they're dangerous.

I have 2 and do not plan to sell them. So price does not matter.

Though they are good guns they do not compare to a sig or 1911 or what ever higher end pistol of your choice. I liked mine fine until I shot a sig. Ruined the ruger from that day out.

I have a P95 and think it's the best sub-$400 pistol out there. I'm not saying it's better than a Glock or anything but It's accurate and fun to shoot.

I've got the short lived 345

a fantastic gun. Feeds every kind of ammo and is accurate, lightweight and the recoil is very managable for a 30 oz handguns. The only downsided is the chamber loaded indicator that peens over your firing pin if you dry fire without the mag.

Never part with mine. I do see a few in the marketplace here though.

I regret selling my P85 over 10 years ago. They are probably the best choice in the $300 to $400 price range.

My P944 is an awesome gun. It has never misfired, or misbehaved in any way in the 10 years I've had it, and with Hogue grips, the gun fits my hand like it was custom-built. To me, it's far more comfortable than any 1911 I've held/fired. I don't have a lot of experience with other brands, but I can't imagine anything fitting my hand better.

I like my P95 decocker. Chunky slidewise but handle fits my hand good. I like the ambi decocker lever and mag release. Does not have the rail since it's pre-2000 model but reliable as hell. I've feed reloads and commercial loads without a hiccup. I did stippled the polymer handle since it's smooth. I know the latest models already has that feature. Accuracy is good enough for what I need the pistol for which is home defense and range use.

Great HD gun IMHO. Plus you can really spruce it up with a little work:
