GUNSTRUCTION - Open Beta, usable by everyone- thoughts wanted!

Hey guys,
Full disclosure, I'm the Project Manager for GUNSTRUCTION!

We recently opened up the build to allow anyone to use it, though it still has a few quirks and bugs (particularly with saving, going to be fixed next patch!). I've noticed that a large amount of our traffic comes from your side of the states, and there's been a thread or two mentioning GUNSTRUCTION on here in the past.

I'd really like to get you guys opinion on our project! What do you think, improvements to make, etc. Post up some screenshots of your build or whatever

Pretty cool app, thanks for sharing!

I tried it briefly and it was lagging my I5 cpu and using up about 400-500MB RAM. I'll have to try it again later when I have more time. So far, I think it's a great idea.

As far as the app itself goes, seems like it might be handy for the people who don't have enough familiarity with components to be able to visualize this stuff in their head. The pricing aspect... meh I shop sales anyway. With the quick glance(few minutes) I spent poking around with it, there's seems to be a lack of optics and trigger groups, although the amount that's there is reasonable to get an idea of what it'll look like I guess?

Adding more parts and getting more companies on board is something we're working towards. I one of my modelers today is doing 8 different bull barrels, while another is doing even more handguards. We want to have as many people on board as possible, with as big of variety of parts as possible.

Which trigger group were you looking for?

Released a big patch on Tuesday, lots of new parts (Samson among others), a save system that actually works , shareon facebook etc.

It's not that I was looking for a specific part(like I said, I don't personally have much use for it), but looking at it just now it's missing RRA, AR gold, CMC, and a few others that are popular for one reason or another. Eotech seems to be missing from optics.
