Its been just over a year that i took time of of work to get my back fixed, and is comming up on the one year anaversity of my hart attack on may 5. with my back surgery getting closer and the constant disconfort and wanting to fall down and die back paine i often find myself with endless nights of reloading. i set the dillion asside in favor of the RCBS single stage and prepare to focus on the task at hand. iam not able to handle the drugs they gave me for the paine so i found that the reloading and shootig at a higher level than i ever did befor is helping me keep from jumping in the deep end of the pool,ha,ha,tonight i made 45acp 250-200swc and 100-230fmj and like i said its at a higher leval. that means mike the shells, clean primer pockets, seat the primers and turn the case 180 and seat it again, weight every 5th round of pistol and very rifle round, seat the bullets and mike em again.eveything by the book iam at the point right now of running out of things to do, so if you have a load you want checked out iam set up for 38spc,357,9mm,45acp,45lc,257bob,270win,30-30win,308win,45-70,they will be loaded by the book and cronographed at the end and ill post the results, ill try to match barrel lenth and gun type as best as i can thanks big...

*shudder*..... I will ignore the cornucopia of errors (because it is clear that you have some shortcomings DUE TO YOUR BACK PAIN [this is what I meant about "shortcomings") and just point out that it is Dillon, not Dillion....
*still shuddering*

I know what you are going through on your upcoming back surgery.. I went through 4 of them in a 3 yr period (2 fusions) I went shooting to take my mind off of the constaint pain that I went and am still gong through.
Good luck on the back surgery too! hope yours works out better then mine did!'Just Don't Point, Squint, and Laugh! '

While it certainly can't compare to back injuries/pain and such, a few years ago I had to go through the process of having braces as an adult in my mid-thirties to include oral surgery to expose an upper canine which never moved into position to come through the gum.
Every time I had a painful adjustment made I ended up at the range shortly after. The concentration required for precision shooting, along with the pleasant smell of burnt gunpowder and the roar of a pistol in my hand, did a nice job of taking my mind off the discomfort.
I think all Dr.'s should prescribe target-practice as a method of minor pain relief!
