i would love it if aldon smith would see this through in court because I believe the most important thing whilst enforcing these laws is intent. i don't understand the details, i believe there was gunfire and that isn't cool, but did aldon smith intent to do evil things with his Arizona-configured black rifles? were any of those rifles deployed during the gunfight? what is the threshold, in this instance, to ruin a young man's life for possession of misconfigured rifles? especially if they didn't come out? aldon smith is in a unique position of celebrity and wealth to aee this through. he's no plaxico. also --- Go Packers. yee ha.

Good. Direct him to CalGuns. Maybe this will get some attention focused on how retarded CA laws are. You can buy something completely legal in AZ and be arrested for failing to modify it to CA standards without ever having used it in a criminal way.

This guy can probably afford some pretty good attorneys. Unfortunate that his most likely play is to cop to some lesser charge and let the PD keep the rifles.

The linebacker told deputies he is a gun collector and said he fired one of the rifles in the air in self-defense to try to break up the party after being shot at and stabbed.
