    Bull Frog Rust Blocker

I just received my Bull Frog Rust Blocker Shield (the big sheet in perforated box) in the mail earlier today. Instead of purchasing the little stickers or multiple cups, I decided to just buy the big sheet and cut it into pieces. I cut one corner off and tossed it in my ammo box, another corner of it in my rifle case, and left the rest of the sheet hanging where I store everything.

Has anyone else here ever used these products before? Results?

Anything I should know about this product that isn't already apparent?

I've read that I shouldn't let it come into contact with anything even though it says it's perfectly fine on their website. And supposedly this stuff has left a stain on someones wooden stock before.

I always apply a liberal coat of CLP on all of my extra metal parts and the metal surfaces on my guns, but I'm somewhat anal about rust prevention, so I figured why not for $10.

Really? The foam sheet I bought smells kind of gross. It reminded me of something I've smelled before but I can't recall what it was, at the moment.

Anyone else here ever use their products before? I'd really like to hear some actual reviews.
