Ramifications of a rejected 30 day DROS?

Seems I DROS'ed a handgun 10 days before I should have and got a rejection letter.

Is there any ramification or change in treatment/rejction for future DROSing?

If the DROS was redone today, I can still DROS something approximately 10/5/, 11/6, 12/7 and still be ok if they SSE's are banned in 1/1/2014 right?

From what I've been told the only penalty is you lose the background check fees and have to fill out the paperwork all over. So you'll have to pay again, but it doesn't affect future DROS's. My local FFL's always double check with me to make sure I've met the 30 day timeline before starting the DROS.
