I have a M&P listed. I have had three different people approach me about a straight cash sale with no FFL involvement. I have turned every offer down flat of course but am wondering if I should pass the info on to the authorities. Every attempt was framed in similar manner as "All we need is a bill of sale right?" My response is "No, it isn't a C&R weapon blah, blah, blah" & they follow up with "Are you sure, it's not a big deal". Would the local LEO's even care to hear about it do you think?

I'd report them. If you see a news broadcast in a week or two with one of them that had killed somoene using a firearm wouldn't you feel bad?

I had a seller who wanted to handle the transfer of a Winchester 94 (early 70's model) as an intra-familial transfer. I was not comfortable with that and walked away. He sold quite a few items on here and gave me the impression that he did it that way quite often.
