My response is "No, it isn't a C&R weapon blah, blah, blah" & they follow up with "Are you sure, it's not a big deal". Would the local LEO's even care to hear about it do you think?
I'd report them. If you see a news broadcast in a week or two with one of them that had killed somoene using a firearm wouldn't you feel bad?

Sounds like a trap to me.

Smells like Kamala to me! I agree with 'saki', dime them out to the moderators. We don't need that here.

You already know the first one:
              1) don't do it

              But also:
              2) please share with the mods - 'report PM' or whatever means you were contacted

Frozen in 2015, it is falling out of date and I can no longer edit the content. But much of it is still good!

I had a seller who wanted to handle the transfer of a Winchester 94 (early 70's model) as an intra-familial transfer. I was not comfortable with that and walked away. He sold quite a few items on here and gave me the impression that he did it that way quite often.

In hind sight maybe I should have reported him.
