looks like hes coming up with a locking model too. I wonder how much these are going for.

Where do I get this gun cabinet?

Now, why didn't I think of that?
Oh, yeah. I'm a lawyer. It doesn't matter how scary, ugly, uncomfortable, or inconvenient self defense can be. Like it or not, you will never, ever be relieved of your duty and responsibility to defend your life, your family, your country and your freedom.
How much ammo do I need? Enough to last me the rest of my life, and then lot more for later.

Is that an Isle of Man Flag down by the Union Jack? weird you don't seem them everyday.
The odd thing about people from the Isle of Man is that the speak on the inhale, not exhale like everyone else.WTB Irish firearms:
old SxS shotguns, Enfields (Irish contract or FF marked), RIC marked carbines or revolvers, odd ball flintlocks.
VZ58 PARTS F/S - I've got everything except magazine parts

That could be an "at home" option. When you leave, you put it in the safe.OK - now MY irreplaceable firearms are encased in STEEL bolted to the floor and encased again in an alarmed cabinet. Do you really want YOUR AR (or other rifle) just hanging on the wall hoping no one will figure to look under the plywood case? Don't come whining to us when it gets stolen and you can't buy another one in CA._██_

Could be made out of steel.. bolted to the studs in the wall and use some sort of hidden lock or magnetic lock..I was hoping it'll be a steel cabinet built for security, but decorative at the same time displaying a US flag.
In any case, the gun I'll be placing in that cabinet will be something disposable, something I use frequently at the range. Probably mid-range (less than $2000) semi-auto shotgun like a Benelli M2 or a AR-15. It'll be something I won't miss if I ended up using in self-defense and has to be surrendered to the police for extended period of time (or even permanently).
I picture a shorty shotgun in thereMember: Patron member NRA, lifetime member SAF, CRPAOriginally posted by tony270It's easy to be a keyboard warrior, you would melt like wax in front of me, you wouldn't be able to move your lips.Comment

It takes a lot of balls to play golf the way I do.

I think I could make the case without any problem but I am not very artistic so I don't think the paint would come out the way I want.Insert something clever here.Comment

Was at Hobby Lbby yesterday getting some pinewood derby stuff for my son and they have a lot of pics, etc using the boxformat. For a pistol, I could see it working with the ones I quickly looked at if you added a hinged back. For rifles, they may have them, but I didn't look.
They were all 50% off.Starve the beast, move to a free state.
