It's been a slow burn over the years. First my LGS wouldn't let me transfer my brothers used gun because it wasn't on the roster (I know, I know). Then I started thinking about all the guns we can't buy because they aren't popular enough to be on the list. Then the final straw of a model dropping off the list because the manufacturer didn't pay the recurring ransom.
I'm not really much of a handgunner but how did we let this mess happen and continue? I'm not late to the party but I'm becoming more and more disgruntled.

It's in the court system. It's obviously unconstitutional. Just hold your breath for another 10 years or so, and you'll be buying all those cool handguns that don't even exist yet.

All of California is safer due to our stringent gun laws and we are about to get safer still.

I'm really thankful that I'm not Jones-ing for a cool handgun that's not on the roster. Being a handgunner sucks in this state.

I've passed on 3 handguns I wanted because they weren't on the roster and I didn't feel like going through the hoops to get one...hopefully they'll still be around if this circus ever ends

The law was created with the intention to eventually end all handgun sales in CA. This is why it eventually must be ruled unconstitutional. As long as Heller and McDonald stand, handguns cannot be banned.
