Which BCG???

OK, I need to buy a Bolt Carrier Group. I'm looking at the Nickel Boron coated BSG's from two companies. I would welcome additional manufactures if you know of any. The first is Fail Zero and the second is WMD guns. I would like a full auto M16 with hammer BSG.

If you think one is no good then explain why. Thank you all.

Well two things, first the PSA BSG is not NiBX. Second, since they gave in to our tyrants on not selling rebuild kits I no longer support them....

I think it may be more efficient if you explain why you believe those two products are superior to other products on the market. Then if someone believes another product is superior to the products you proposed, they can explain why they feel the way they do.

Saves you a couple bucks and upgraded bolt steel. Not sure what the extractor is made of. Prob 158 carp

I have seen numerous tests and read reports on NiBX BCG running 2000+ rounds completely dry with zero hiccups. Cleaning is far easier so basic maintenance should be less time consuming. I live in a rather dry, dusty environment and have seen my BIL's rifle jam up with crud blown in and gumming up the workings as dust mixes with the oils. In the event a SHTF happens I would like a system that would be less likely to give me problems. Yes I understand AR/M16 BCGs have been around for about 5 decades and work but new innovations in coatings and manufacturing creates more reliable and durable firearms...

So from what I'm reading your main concern is to not have to clean your bcg often and the ability to use minimal lube. Well then, pick any company that has a nibx, np3, ion, nitride coating.

or since cleaning is the issue maybe a piston setup is your better option.

1. That's my point. Spend the extra money you'll save on ammo.
2. Several companies and a gun show promoter have had a Supreme Court Lawsuit filed against them for selling mag rebuilt kits to Ca or in Ca.

So in fact mag rebuild kits are legal to posses in Ca per the DOJ, they have specifically stated that they are legal. We all know they're legal here. However I can't say I fault PSA for not wanting to risk the financial and legal burden a lawsuit could bring them for selling rebuild kits to Ca. I blame our own government for its endless attack on the 2A, the voters and non voters the same. I do not blame PSA.
