.50BMG Belt Fed Group buy... interest? (So-cal)

So, now that we've determined that it is infact 100% legal to buy/sell/own/operate a .50BMG crew served weapon, I think its time we did a group buy on them.

We will probably be getting M3 guns (M2's are in short supply)

The cheapest option will be to get Right Hand Side plates (should be somewhere around 400)

the second option would be to get a complete rivited receiver (all plates but no internals) and that will run somewhere around 2k

Complete guns would be in the 11k neighborhood

I may have a line on parts kits as well, but I don't want to get overly complicated with this thing.

Basicly if you want to get a .50BMG sideplate post your interest in the thread.

If you're interested in getting a complete gun or an assembled receiver post interest for that.

I need some numbers to throw around when I call the places to try and get reduced pricing.

I would be in for an 80%. Maybe the riveted receiver as well.
I do not provide legal services or practice law (yet).

under the couch cushions, I may be interested in a complete gun.

These would all be going through one so-cal FFL who has already agreed to do it for us (nor cal guys can start up their own if they have an FFL who is game, I believe there are a few who already do it regularly)

This would be for 100% sideplates,

80%'s you can get on your own with no FFL involvement

The RHSP will likely come either from KMP or Halo ( I wouldn't recommend anyone else) and in both cases the plates are only "80%" finished. BUT they will be serialized as a firearm and require normal transfers as such. So I just wanted to point out that there will need to be some drilling on them to fit up.

The boxed receivers are actually pushing $2500-$2900 depending on one using Allied or TNW receivers. No one else has any available.

Complete guns are actually in the $8000 range +/- $1000 depending on options.

More than a few have been offered in the $6500-$7500 range on various forsale boards in the last month.

Count me in for a RSP. I know a FFL in the Bay Area who would be willing. But you've got to help me get a parts kit.

How much are you looking at cost wise once all is said and done? I might be interested in a boxed reciever, if parts kits aren't too hard to come by.
