Thinking about trying to trade my 4 inch royal blue python for a nice rifle. Its a beautiful gun but I simply dont shoot it. A few friends have told me to hang on to it and I understand their points, I just feel I'd get more use/fun out of a badass rifle. Any thoughts or ideas guys? Kinda stuck in the middle at the moment.

I do love the gun...but I probably dont appreciate it as much as someone else can, hence this situation. I do feel a little that I may kick myself over this in the future, but I might not be kicking myself that hard if the rifles nice enough. haComment

My take is to enjoy what I have. If you enjoy having it and shooting it sparingly, then keep. But if you are not into collecting anyways, get what you would enjoy shooting. Scenario 1: You are filthy rich and can have all the guns you want. Then definitely keep the Python as a safe queen.
Scenario 2: You are struggling to own all the guns you want, and may be running up some credit card debt to get them. Then definitely sell the Python to get the rifle that you want, and will use more then the revolver.
I think you answered your question yourself in the part quoted at the top.sigpic
