    my kid drove up the drieway,hay dad why you cooking outside?man i forgot why i dont like to cast my own. this stuff is messy..

    That for Centerfire or Black Powder?

    Centerfire seems like too much work to get into. Of course if that is for BP then you must REALLY love those flint/percussion guns...

      i havent decited yet i still have abought 25lps of ingets from the last time i made some abought 12 years ago, i just did these because my brother gave me 8 coffee cans of tire weights, ill figger out what to make of then later, you right abought center fire being alot of work, its much easer to feed these to the od 54

        Yes, but you can make a mold or buy a mold for a particular shape and weight of bullet that is otherwise unavailable that you would have to either custom order, or do without.

          Oh don't get me wrong, I think casting your own bullets is a wonderful thing; something that every gun owner should at least know how to do, along with reloading. I just personally don't do anything at this time that requires custom bullets/loads so it is too much time and work for me to get into.
