Did you buy anything except the PPT fee? I try to even though I don't really buy guns there to help support them due to superior PPT service. I have bought ammo, my neighbor has bought ammo from them, and I think one guy I did a PPT with there bought a gun from them as well and I know one guy I did my last PPT with their had bought a couple of guns from their stock earlier in the week.

this may be a dumb question or not. does ammo bros have an in house gunsmith? ie. can perform basic to extreme repairs on AR15 and other type rifles they stock? what about shotguns? i've got a gas tube that needs replacing in my AR, and also i've got a stripped hole that i need re-threaded. simple stuff really that i dont have the tools or time to do myself

Affirmative on the Ammo Bros gunsmith- fast, friendly service and he did the work for me while I waited- a gigantic plus one for AB.

My two cents? I supported them from the beginning. Had some serious problems with reloads they were selling. The plating was coming off the bullets and was spattering all over my face and internally in my gun. Split my lip once. Happened more than once due to my returning a box, they giving me another, and it happening all over again. They were good about it. In the last while since they have grown and been active in the OLL movement I see it as a different shop now. I guess the money is there more so than reloads, no fault to them. I did notice they are doing a bit of what some refer to as "gouging". Magpul 10/30 magazines were around 30.00 there a couple months ago recently in the "Obama economic stimulus through gun control fears" weeks they went up to 44.00. They have been rude on the phone for simply asking what time they were open until, and so instead I have given my business to Riflegear, and will not go back. I gave up on their reloads too way back when, bought my own dillon and bought quality parts....

At the gun shows they are nice, professional, good deals, etc. At their store it is really hit or miss. They have been total dheads the few times i have made the drive to their store. Their reloads are very inconsistant as well, and usually way underpowered. The guys at the show must be the owners and top employees. Totally different attitude and knowledge.

Anyone know how much they charge for out of state ffl? They are not too far away from me and if they don't high ball the fee I might start using them from now on.

Gun Control - A theory espoused by some monumentally stupid people; who claim to believe, against all logic and common sense, that a violent predator who ignores the laws prohibiting them from robbing, raping, kidnapping, torturing and killing their fellow human beings will obey a law telling them that they cannot own a gun.

Ammo Bros is worth the drive and they always have time to answering all your questions. I like their style of doing business.

I bought my ammo cans there and lots of firearms. They are always helpfull and nurstering. I was there while they were trying to help a customer in spanish trying to locate magazines for an obscure .32acp pistol. They tried to help him as best as they could.

Many stores have a surley and harsh attitude and that cool feeling starts/emminates from the topp.

AMMP Brothers owners I feel are good guys - good business men and that atmosphere also comes the owners and is no accident.

I found them by going to a gun show.

If the gun having the plated bullet issue is a revolver, your gun probably has a problem.

yeah, me too. but, as i really wanted the RRA, I too chose to wait. Not sure when you bought yours, but you might want to call them at the store and ask where you are on the list and when they think they will come in. My guess, is that now that the holidays are winding down, manufacturers will start shipping.
