New AR build malfunction

So I just finished up a 80% build about a week ago. Finally got a chance to take it out to Chabot range. Really stoked at this point. Got all set up ready to go. Take my first shot and what happens... 2 rounds shoot out!
Think to myself did I reset and pull back again. Anyways I go for a second try same thing...! Now I'm worried so I ease off for a second. Hoping range master didn't notice. One last try I queeze the trigger and hold, one round lets off. I let go the trigger and here comes the second round... damn. Any suggestions or ideas about to break this thing down to see what the culprit is.

Check trigger spring, and clearance between trigger and walls of receiver.

Pull out the hammer and safety select, and feel the trigger as it moves. There should be NO resistance there.

Also, could be your disconnector missing the reset and resulting in a hammer follow. This can be caused by the distance between the hammer pin and the trigger pin holes being off when drilled (i.e. the jig slipped between holes, or one of them walked slightly when drilling).

Culprit is probably the sear not catching the hammer. Have you worked the bolt with empty rifle to see if hammer gets snagged by frond spring loaded sear before rear hook catches it for re-set? Do it a bunch of times.

You were correct the sear was not catching correctly. I worked the bolt a bunch of times. When I let the trigger reset very minimal amount of the sear was catching almost safe to say barely hanging on by a hair.
