    AK Question

OK, I saw over the weekend on line a new Arsenal SAM7R AK47 standard stock, pistol grip. Barrel is threaded with a muzzle brake, is the threaded barrel the deal breaker in Calif? Does it need to be welded/pinned.

I know you can install a mag lock, the threaded barrel is the question?

That's a good question that I've been wondering about too. 3 of my kalash style guns were welded but one wasn't which I bought used. All of them do have detent pins however.

Threaded barred rifles have no restrictions in California. Threaded pistol barrels do.

A flash suppressor on a semi-auto non RAW/non fixed magazine rifle is a no go.

Only rifle barrels that are less than 16" need to have the compensator/ flash suppressor pinned and welded to make the barrel 16" or longer.
