Best present for dad

Hey guys, just wanted to post that I gave a sig p220r to my pops for father's day. He told me one time that he always wanted a Sig since he was a young man so I thought it would be a good present.

Picked it up a couple days ago and went to the range. I can tell he will be a good shooter with a little bit more practice. He used to be against me spending so much money on ammo but I'm predicting he will be spending as much as I am from now on

I got a question though... On the DOJ intrafamilial transfer form, he fills it out correct? And he just puts "present from son" on the "how it was acquired" portion? I had to put it on my name because he doesnt have time to PPT.

Now I just have to convince him to open carry at his store...

He fills it out and instead of "present" use the word "gift" from son. Be sure he has his HSC (handgun safety card) prior to the gift.

You are a good son. I did the same for my dad about 5 years ago. Gave him a Colt Combat Commander .45. He still has it and loves to go shooting with me each time I visit him in FL.
