    Bohica .510 forearm

Does anyone know who makes a aftermarket forearm for bohicas that replaces the plastic? Also, when installing a DPMS single shot lower, any mods required or is it pin it in and shoot?

Depends on what version Bohica you have. MKI or MKII, probably not, unless you have the YHM barrel nut installed, or have it sent back to have the original nut swapped for a YHM. MKIII's are supposed to come with the YHM nut pre-installed, so you could swap out the plastic for a YHM floating handguard.

Do you want an AOW or C&R SBS/SBR in CA?

Ditto what k26guj said. The handguard is pretty tuff in person if you're thinking its going to crack or something. I was going to change mine to the YHM rail but after decided not to after seeing how durable the stock version is. Also, I think it would look kinda funny since the barrel is FAT

Thanks for the info. I know the function of the stock version is good and durable, its just the looks I guess. After looking at some of the other 50s, I just wanted a little "high tech" look. Time to get busy on the mill and lathe! Any input on trigger mods to install a single shot DPMS?
