Anyone have any insight into what is going on (timing-wise) with new gun shipments from either Marlin or Savage? I've had both a Marlin 1894 in .357 and a Savage Rascal both on order for months, but no one I've spoken with seems to have any real idea as to when the factories are likely to ship either model. I keep calling my LGS, but they honestly have no idea, beyond the fact there aren't any available and they can't get word as to when they will be available. Anyone know what's going on with Marlin's 1894 retooling/QC correction effort, time-wise? Or why Savage Rascals with wood stocks aren't available? At this point, I'm wondering if either is likely to arrive before January 1st. Anyone have insight or inside information you can offer? Thanks!

I was going to order a Savage from big 5 and they told me 26 weeks. I didn't order the rifle. I went to a different place to get one.I thought it was "We the people."
I am still searching new or even used at this point..
