    Horrible gunbroker buying experience.

    gpigun is the username.

Ordered a forged 80% from the guy on the 31st of July. A week went by no contact after me calling him. I get a call back finally on the 11th saying that due to him switching email accounts from his personal to his new company one, my order was lost in the process and would be shipped on Tuesday the 13th.

Another week goes by. I talked to him yesterday via email asking why I haven't been given a tracking number but my CC was charged. His reponse was that someone place a giant order and that was processed first before mine. Wow, I know businesses do it but to BLATANTLY announce "I care about money more than customer satisfaction"...awesome. Going on three weeks now with no item.

Just my personal experience, and I won't be conducting business with this guy again. The only plus to this deal was that I only paid $93.50 for the the 80% lower.

Sorry for your terrible experience. You can leave the worst possible feedback and did I see credit card?

You can easily dispute a charge if the guy cannot even prove he shipped it.

      Yep, what he said.

Or, you can understand the pressures of being a small business and be patient.

I have to admit that the seller could have said, "hey, I have this big order in front of you and won't be able to ship until xx/xx/xx, do you want to keep the order or would you prefer I refund your money?"

I bought a gun earlier this year on Gun Broker, seller charged my card instantly for a $1,100 gun. After a month of waiting and inquiries, he admitted that he didn't actually have the gun, but had sold one expecting it to receive soon, but it never materialized. After 3 months, I finally had a gun (we made a new deal and he made it right in my mind, but the fact remains that it still took 3 months). But from now on, I always ask if it is actually in-stock before I bid.

Or maybe a small business shouldn't expand their market to a National level if their business model can't efficiently support it.

You are correct. I have bought several guns from gunbroker. The last one I bought was on the third week. I called him, he said he sent it two weeks earlier. I waited one more week and called my CC company. They cancelled everything and put it back on my card. The seller called me back and said he was mistaken whe he said it was sent out. He said lets try it again, I said you have my answer on you feedback. Never heard from him again.
