    FN SCAR FIND

Let me first say don't have any affiliation with this store other than it seems they always have what I want at a great price.

I also wanted to inform my fellow Calgunners.

I just picked up a FN SCAR 16s FDE from Sierra Guns in Utah for $2399. They did charge me 3% credit card fee and $30 shipping. I bought the bullet button and stock block from Riflegear and had it shipped directly to them and they installed everything. They are so cool. They even went out of their way to get me an FN 10 round mag. For the price I would have purchased the gun without the mag.

The SCAR I picked up was listed on Gunbroker. I called them up and asked, if the would sell it. They asked, if it had any hits I said, no. He didn't seem sure on the price. He said we'll sell it for $2399. He said, "I think that's the price". I told him immediately I'll take it.

They list their SCAR 16s for $2499. It's still better than a lot of prices I've seen.

They have SCAR 17s for $2899.

They are a huge store. They guy told me once they sell 75 guns per day. During the craziness when you couldn't find anything. I wanted a Gen 4 17 FDE. They had 2. They guy said they had 400 Glocks in stock.

Thanks for the info. Do you know how many FDE 16's he has? And what BB did you use? Raddlock?

Those are fair prices. Good job.

There are several scars 16 and 17 at that price on GB with free shipping and no CC and most of all - CA friendly.

Do they make you pay in hundred dollar bills?

One reason for the post is that we have a fellow calgunner trying to sell used FN SCAR 16 for $4000. That's just BS. There is no need to buy that rifle. I'm also starting to find come across more and more new SCARS for sale.

With regards to Gunbroker and most being CA friendly are they willing to make the gun CA compliant. Most shops will not accept the rifle unless it's CA compliant. I don't know why. This wasn't the case just a few years ago.

I agree with Windex however the person who is selling it at a high market price is free to sell it at any price he/she believes is fair. And its up to any interested buyer to buy it at that price - market price or MSRP.

Yes that is half of the story.....the other half is members who are looking out for each other.

There are Butloads of good deals on GB if you are willing to pick up a phone and talk to a human being in NY, NC, FL etc.

exactly! You just have to search, ask, and educate out of state FFLs. I've converted several in the past 6 months.

I would talk to Matt at Sierra Guns. However, everyone there seems pretty cool. Even if you leave a message they will call you back.

I've noticed GRABAGUN.COM. Has some good prices on SCARS. BIGDADDYGUNS also has good prices on SCARS. However, they are not up to speed on making them CA compliant. They seem to be good guys and might be willing to work with you if you can walk them through the process.

They were really disappointed to hear what was going on in CA .
