Daughter first rifle!

Picked up this little lady from The Shootist is Murrieta. Crickett pink laminated wood with stainless barrel. Coast to Coast laser in Murrieta engraved her initials on it for me. Panic buy, maybe. Just don't think I should have to register a youths rifle.

Seriously, every child should have a .22 rifle as their first firearm.
I'm certain she'll outgrow it. But, will never complain about it kicking too hard or being too big for her.

Good for you. My daughters 1st rifle was a Chimpmonk then came the Marlin model60. Then a 22 Buckmark pistol. Then a 257Roberts and she shot out the barrel on it so I had it rebarreled. Then a 9mm pistol.

You are just getting started but every dad should be so lucky.

Wait until you take her hunting the 1st time ....Then her 1st car......Then to Africa hunting. Girls are expensive.-----But worth it.

Awesome! The laser engraving is a great touch. I hope to be posting a similar thread for my daughter's first rifle in a couple of months. I'm very excited. Anyone know any places to get laser engraving in the Los Angeles area?

Nice present. I bought my son his first lower yesterday, just need to get him a dedicated .22 upper. Now I just have to wait about 7-8 years until he's old enough to take him shooting.
