Hi. All of my pistols are generally in one safe or another. Their respective cases are in a closet. I have done my best to make the safes inconspicuous but nothing says "Handguns here!" To a criminal like a bunch of cases. Any suggestions on where to store them? Thanks.

I can't say too much about it right now, but I'm working on a new tactical product to alleviate this problem. Patent is pending so please don't discuss with anyone else:

My plan is to manufacture these in a manner that requires no BB or any other compliance device, but for now these are pretty rare because they are not on the DOJ roster. Contact me if you would like to purchase a prototype for $2,588 + shipping. I do not ship to NY or outside of the USA. I could also use some help if anyone has an idea on how to package this for shipping...Crime rate per 100k peopleOriginally posted by MitchThe architects of the assault weapon bans ... are simply trying to fight the Culture War. Wait so your handguns are in the safe and your wondering where to put the empty case? But your worried about bad guys knowing you have handguns in the safe?
I'm pretty sure with a fat gun safe they know you have a decent assortment of guns already lol
I have all my guns in my safe with pistol cases in top and rifle on the side. I'm pretty sure they already knew what they were looking for breaking into your place or will when they see gun keeper 2000 24 gun safe in the corner.Comment

LOL, yeah. The big gun safe is going to be the most obvious clue. Then of course any gun related items you have sitting around(ammo cans, cleaning supplies, etc.), then maybe if they managed to look past everything else and find the plastic cases in the back of the closet, they'll get a clue that guns may be around.Wait so your handguns are in the safe and your wondering where to put the empty case? OP,sounds like you have two safes. Why can't you store your handguns in their cases and store the cases in one of your two safes?Comment

Thanks for the replies, ideas, and chuckles. Yes the safes are a give away. Larger safe is inconspicuous and hidden, stuffed with ammo, mags, and guns. The way it is situated it might be easy to overlook. Smaller safe next to bed, open at night, locked during the day. I just figured why give anyone the motivation to look hard after seeing paraphernalia around. I do live in Oakland. They don't need a reason to kick your door in and ransack the place. I was just curious if anyone had any novel ideas or had even given this topic much thought. I guess I'll bury them in the storage closet and hope the potential meth heads/dope fiends don't get too creative during their inspection of the premises. All posts dedicated to the memory of Stronzo Bestiale
