    GrabAGun refused my order 3x

I'm perplexed about my experience with GrabAgun.com

I tried to order 5- Marlin 10rd .22 mags and the order seems to go through just fine... until the next day. I get this email.

Our payment processor flagged this item as a security risk for potential fraud. We will not be able to complete the transaction. I have refunded the payment in full.
after a few emails trying to get an explanation... all I get is:

Our payment processor has stopped each of your orders. We will not be able to accept an order from you.
They send a short answer of trying with a difference creditcard as a payment. So I did 2 more times... same thing.

another few emails later asking what kind of payment will they accept. I had to do a postal money order to them, IF I wanted to order.

Does this sound fishy to you guys? Your experience with that site and all, would appreciate your input guys!

Are you trying to ship to a different address than what your CC company has on file?

Wierd. Maybe call your credit card and ask them? Maybe they can get on a call with them?

The issue is with your credit card co, not the store. There's apparently something wrong and they have a flag on your account.

Sometimes this is because your card was on a list of compromised cards somewhere, but there are lots of reasons. CC companies have to be very careful.

Almost always easy to clear up, and important for you to find out why it's flagged.

Do you have a landline listed with your CC company as your phone number, and are providing your cell number on the order? I had that trigger it once.

It's weird. I never ran into any issues with that same card ordering from a different website the same day.

I have contacted the CC and they didn't find anything wrong.

I just decided to order it from Exile instead. Even though its 5$ more and never really had any issues ordering from them. Plus support them a little since that whole City of SF suing them issue.

Thanks for all your inputs! I'll just stay away from GAG (get it? Lol)

Woah! Exile has Marlin .22 mags? I'm on my waaaaay!

Edit: to disappointment. No 795 mags.

Eh, you know this kind of happened to me with B&H Photo , i tried several times with both one of my credit cards, and even my "bank of america debit" card, and they kept refusing; they told me the same BS send a Postal MO, and i was like WTF?!

Later i find out it's the merchant processor that they are using. Sometimes these smaller places use low priority processors that don't have the resources to check and their databases keep weird profiles on you based on credit , type of card used, etc. At that point, I just said, well they lost my business for this BS processing, and shopped elsewhere. It happens, but hey what can you do, just move and carry on!

Humm interesting hcbr. I was using 2 different Bank of America CC...

Yeah, but it in a sense wouldn't it hurt THEIR business. Since it keeps denying customer's payment? It just made it sound more of a scam of having me send postal money order. (Then again I can understand the business side being we the customer could be fake)

Though GrabAGun's phone number was busy all the time... so that really drew the line for me.
