Will FDE Be Cool in 10 Years?

I'm thinking about buying a SCAR 16 in FDE. I wanted to get some opinions on if FDE will still be cool a couple years from now.

    What do you guys think?

FDE is 'cool' now. So, no, won't be in ten years.

    Buy it anyway.
The thing with firearms is that they are not like any other consumer product, simple ownership of one carries a lot of responsibility.

Some idiots are too busy knowing it all to ever learn anything

I don't like FDE now. You can ask me again in 10 years if you want to though.

Probably not. If we have a war in Alaska in 10 years white will be the flavor of the decade, but still it's a relic of the trends that we have been through. I say get a fde rifle or pistol and let it be a conversation starter in 10+ years.

Nothing a little Krylon won't fix. Wouldn't worry about it if I were you.

Scar's are like 5 colors of brown with some OD for the top receiver and black controls.... so your pretty much covered for all colors

It's not cool with me now. Not the kind of color that blends in with my environment. Black or OD green for me.

I don't like it now! I'll stick with black or classic wood.

I guess it depends on where the Call of Duty games are set in 10 years. If we are done with Middle East wars (doubt it) then it won't be popular because the kids won't be seeing FDE guns in their video games anymore.

How about not caring what is popular and just buying a gun in the color that YOU like.

Hokey religions and ancient weapons are no match for a good blaster at your side, kid. - Han Solo

"Moms Demand Action" sounds less like a gun control group and more like the title of a porn flick from the mid-90s.

Just look at what's happened to America in the last 10 years. Merely owning a gun at all in a decade will be "kewl" no matter what color it is.

"OMG, he has a actual firearm. Didn't they ban those back in 2018?"
