Hello I hope some one can help answer my questions. First of all I would like to know what a build party is ? to my knowledge and please correct me if im wrong is that its where you can take your 80% lower and mill it your self using someone else's equipment and so long as all of the work is done by my self on my own 80% lower it is perfectly legal. My next question is do I need to engrave a serial # or my initials on the lower once it is milled out by me? also when this process is completed by me is it legal for me to take my milled out lower completed with upper and lower parts kit out to the range or blm lands and if a ranger at the blm lands comes up and ask about my firearm what would I have to tell the ranger about personally built firearm. any help on this matter would greatly help thanks

No, but its probably a good idea..

Its all legal, you just have to hope the RO and LE know the laws..The flow chart might help.

no troll from sacramento here bigdawg I am a law abiding citizen that wants to remain a law abiding citizen and I am also a calguns contributor and feel that there is no better place to get the right information than here on calguns where I have a vested interest in . now if you want to think that im some dirty politician or some under cover agent that's your personal opinion but please if you cant answer my questions on helping me understand the law then don't post any thing negative like you just did even if your a senior member it doesn't give you the right to assume

It's when all your neighbors get together and build a barn. After the barn is built, everybody eats and then there is square dancing. Guys wear jeans and a plaid shirt and gals wear plaid dresses. I've seen it a dozen times in the movies.
