      Good!
Pennsylvanians can use the work, NewYorkers can easily live w/o a manufacturing base.
I hope Remington and Kimber do likewise .

I still resent your avatar portraying the Republican Party as Nazis.

You were asked before to make a connection to the gop advocating or promoting agendas that could be construed as NAZI like. Since you have made no attempt to explain this connection. I humbly request you remove it .
I will give you reasons why I object so strongly .

NAZI is an acronym that means National SOCIALIST German workers party. Hardly a republican concept as GOP supports, RIGHT to Work legislation . Not a socialist idea.

We all recall how FDR democrat interned Japenese Americans during WW 2, using the census data. J Edgar Hoover a republican objected saying these are Americans. No matter FDR had plans for prime LA real estate.

Hitler used census data to intern Jews, see the connection ?

The Nazi weapons law of 1938 was copied word for word by democrat senator Dodd .translated into English and re named gun control act of 1968 . Supported by democrats opposed by republicans .

I have pages of facts regarding the nazi party and how the GOP platform opposes nearly every plank of it .

I sincerely request you remove the nazi symbol from my party's elephant.

An alternative would be for you to show an elephant getting plugged, many Calgunners would enjoy drilling such an animal, and it would still show you dislike republicans

The Nazi symbol and the hammer & sickle on the respective symbols of the republican and democratic parties is meant to represent the authoritarian, corrupt and oppressive nature of both parties. The fact that you are unable to see the oppressive nature of your own party illustrates the reason that I left the republican party years ago.

so no... I will not be removing it.

For the sake of change, because apparently we seek it at least every eight years. Why don't you just swap the symbols.

Good to know that CGN supports free speech. There was nothing hateful/racist about my avatar and you know it. Makes total sense to ban something when people get their feelings hurt. Way to go.

Stony, you seem to be confused.

Free speech means you get to post whatever you want on your own forum. It doesn't mean you can post whatever you want on someone else's forum, just like you can't get whatever you want printed in the local paper.

Exactly... and I did not violate any of the rules and was silenced for no other reason than the fact that I offended some of the party line republicans' sensibilities. There was absolutely nothing hateful or racist about my avatar. While it is certainly within the rights of the moderating staff to do as they see fit, it doesn't make their actions any less ridiculous or hypocritical. Perhaps suppressing free speech is the incorrect label to apply to this situation. I suppose their actions are just more in line with being power tripping authoritarians who don't like others to have opposing viewpoints.

Perhaps it is for the best that I simply come here for the 2A news and don't post as much as I have been recently. I certainly don't identify with many people here. If people like sticking their heads in the sand, who am I to challenge their self-delusion?
