    buds gun shop.

i have recently ordered a handgun thru their site and had some friends buy guns from their site as well. my friends seemed to get their guns shipped out alot sooner than mine has. Is this the norm for buds considering todays market? Or did I just get the short end of the stick this time.
It took them 5 business days to process and I just got my tracking info about an hour ago.....I was just curious

Why don't you call and ask, there could be a million reasons.

They may have had to order it, they may not have gotten around to shipping it, there may have been money pending on your card.

      Direct from the FAQ's

      16. Why are the firearms shipped "within 3 to 7 business days" of completing my order ?

Our firearms are located throughout our warehouses by make and model. We normally process and ship handguns more quickly than long guns due to their proximity to our shipping department and ease of handling. We also keep all firearms with highest sales volume closest to the shipping department to expedite processing and shipping. We commit to ship all firearms within 7 business days of completing your order. However, our goal is always to ship ASAP

^^^ This, in a nut shell, some of the guns they sell online is not at their store , but at their warehouse (i.e. their vendor or distributor's warehouse) which then, they'll ship out once it's available (either from the store or direct from the warehouse)

Alot of these online sales go through some distributors, i mean look at Ammo Bros, they just recently started using one, and thus why they charge a shipping $10 fee

I've ordered from Bud's before. The first couple shipped in two days, then one didn't ship for ten. The last one shipped after a week. They're a busy place.

I figured that they were just super busy. I did read the FAQs I was just wondering about the disparity. Specially since I did buy a hand gun I was hoping it would be faster. Thanks for the help.
