We were at the mall and my nephew got a water gun as a present. I told him "hey, if your not yet using the water gun, stick your finger out". Sure enough, he held his water gun like that the whole time we were there.

I'm glad my nephew learned that early. If he likes guns in the future, that's a good habit to start.

Nice, that's how I started my boys off. Teaching them proper technique and safety. Took my 6 year old to the range a few weeks ago and he had the proper grip, sight picture, and trigger control. Also, knew all of the rules. I've taught many adults over the years and he was better than most because we worked on everything for a year prior to taking him out to shoot a real gun
