Help me ID this rifle

Looks to be a rimfire big bore rifle from quite awhile ago. I came across it as a lamp, and was probably used to get it into the country a LONG time ago. Very cool piece, everything on it is very well made, tight tolerances, and super smooth action. Any info would be fantastic, thanks.

Its an M78. Looks like it was made in 1881 and in really great condition all in all. Price seem to go around 300-500 bucks for similar condition. As low as $200 but I would rate this higher than that.

Yeah, learned a lot looking into this rifle. Pretty cool piece, but I can't afford to shoot the darn thing. Freebie for me, so it works out as a safe queen either way. I can beat the crap out of someone with it worse come to worse
