I very much enjoy the many different gun magazines that I read. I never save them but I never throw them away either. They all go toward recruiting more gun enthusiasts and Second Amendment supporters.
The most productive new home for magazines that I have finished reading is definitely my local barbershop. The barbers there tell me that the gun magazines are extremely popular. The first thing I hear from one of the barbers every time I walk through the door is a thank you for the gun magazines.
It was 53 years ago that I picked up my first gun magazine at a drugstore. It made such an impression on me that I still remember some of the articles. Within three years I was both a gun collector and shooting competitor.
My hope is that many of my fellow shooting enthusiasts will use the magazines, that they don’t save for reference, as one of our best tools to promote gun sports and the Second Amendment. Never throw one away. Pass them on. If you can get some read by people who do not yet own a gun you may just start something very worthwhile.
