    Sportsmans Guide...thumbs up!

I ordered 1000 PMC 9mm FMJ 115gr on January 6, 2013 including tax, S&H, for $252 from Sportsman's Guide and totally forgot about it. I almost sh*t when I saw this on my doorstep.

Thumbs up for SG (yeah, I know, not the best prices) for honoring the order for so long. Cabelas made me keep re-confirming every month to keep orders alive.

I buy ammo from SG when they have what I need. Unfortunately, they haven't had much ammo in stock. As soon as I saw your post, I checked SG to see if they had any more. Out of Stock! Oh well.

I had the same experience, but with 1000 of WPA.

This is encouraging! I'm still waiting for 1K of PPU 5.56 that I ordered way back in December. They send a confirmation request every few months. I confirm it and they acknowledge the confirmation... so maybe? someday?

The made me confirm each item on one order. I missed an email regarding an item and they dropped it.

Sportsmansguide and "thumbs up" is an oxymoron.

It seems like every time I try to order something, not ammo, from SG they do not ship the item to CA. I'll give my money to those that do or LGS' that have the same item on the shelf.

Very nice! it brings me hope that I'll find a hidden gem somewhere on the online sites like this!

I'm in San Diego and just got some 10mm from them last month. Got the shipping notice e-mail yesterday that my case of 7.62x39 will be delivered by ups Friday. Sooooo, they DO,in fact, ship to California....

I've ordered from them in the past once. They try to get you to join their membership, and if you keep reloading the page, sending things to the cart, eventually one of the offers will be to double the membership discount on the items in the cart AND have free shipping. That's when I decided to stock up on 38special magtech ammo. The membership/club "fee" was worth it.

They are OK on some things but a pain with others. You can get lucky as long as you are patient and have a coupon code.
