    Bullet Button tool question

I want to attach my bullet button tool to my sling. Is this legal?

And can somebody cite the code section pertaining to the bullet button? I've searched to no avail.

    Thanks CG!

There is no code section pertaining to the bullet button, as the DOJ doesn't want to approve it's use.

However, having your tool attached to the rifle(and your method would be via the sling) is generally not thought of as being a very good idea due to the DOJ's 50 something different DA's that may interpret things differently.

If the tool is not attached in any way, it's very easy to consider it as not being part of the rifle(which is kinda the point).

I am probably going to say this and someone will make millions but why not create a rubber finger tip that comes to a hard point? That way you could have it on your middle finger and just press the button. Its fixed to you not to the weapon.

They have those and I have one. They are a stylus for PDA's. I don't use mine much anymore, kind of odd wearing it while holding a rifle.

If you are able to use the tool while you have it attached to the rifle, it could very well be considered part of the rifle and no longer a tool at all, meaning you'd have an illegal AW most likely. No case law exists, but you can be the first if you want.
