    PMAG loose fit?

Anyone else have issues with a sloppy pmag fit? I have (what I believe to be) a gen 1 pmag that locks up tight and does not wobble front to back. On the other hand I just bought a gen 3 pmag and it does have front to back slop. Is this the norm or do I have a crappy mag?
    Both are pmag 30s

I have five gen 3's and four gen 2's and none of them fit sloppy.

    Do non-pmags fit ok?

I only have one other magazine, a metal C Products 10 rd. Mag, and it is solid too.

MIGHT be a crappy mag. I'd see about testing it on another AR just to be sure though.

What make of AR do you have?
        1A - 2A= -1A :(

Sounds like a defective mag. You should pm me for my address and just send it to me.

Gen 3 pmags are designed to fit in more magwells other than AR-15's. They basically phased out the emag with the gen 3 so a slightly looser fit might just be normal. As long as you can't yank it out without depressing the mag release it should be fine.

I was thinking that as i noticed the horizontal line on the mag (that is just below my mag well on the rifle) is now perfectly horizontal instead of my gen 1 which follows the same angle on the mag well.

I gave up on Pmags when they were too tight of a fit in my two Sundevil builds. When it comes time to rebuild my GI mags, I'll check out these new ones.

You may like them because they are loose...In my mag well they feel sloppy
