Pics: Lytle Creek Belt Fed Shoot

Well Sunday was the Belt Fed shoot @ Lytle Creek. Finally had a chance to take the 1919A4 I picked up at Allied Armaments Group Buy. Had too much fun, and saw, shot some great stuff. Here are a few pics I managed to take during a cease fire. By the way the next one will be around September for you guys getting your guns soon.

Yeah Chris was there. So was the other guy that works with him. This was a great turnout. I expect the next one to be even better since more Cali. guys picked up 1919's on the A.A. group buy. There were plenty of nice people there willing to assist the new guys.

Next one will be around September so keep an eye out, it is a great time to shoot and meet people.

No... that was the guy next to me.

That was a pretty neat mortar setup. Just a small BP charge with a short fuse taped to the bottom of a water filled soda can. Hardly any noise and as you said, they ended up about 100yrds downrange.

Sig357, if I may ask, what is the name of your group. There is a member here that invited me to come and shoot with his group that meets there once a month but I don't recall the group name. The guys were nice and friendly and a couple let me shoot their OLL AR.

I haven't been up since as I forgot about it. Thanks.

It looked like the real thing to me...
The guys that were shooting it were WWII reenactors and had a whole bunch of period guns and accessories to play with. The 1919a6 in the pic was theirs too.
They also had a nice 1919a4 with a .22lr conversion kit they were running.
Sounded like a pellet gun when fired, and fed from a cloth belt with a .22lr cartridge in a fitted adapter in each belt loop.

More pics posted over at 1919a4.com too. A pic of the mortar firing will probably show up eventually...
