Was at reno the other day and checked out scheels sporting goods and it was a nice store. Two stories and 1 big ferris wheel in the middle. Anyone been there before? Their hunting department is pretty big and have nice firearms selections.

Scheels in Reno

Yep, that place is pretty cool to visit on Reno trips...did you see the small back room of antiques? They had some cool broomhandle mausers when I was there in February."Those who hammer their guns into plows will plow for those who do not." -
With the two story setup, it feels like a shopping mall. Lots of handguns on display. Good selection of reloading supply. Unfortunately, they did not have the ammo I needed. So I had to endure the 5-box limit at Cabelas.Comment

That was my Saturday this week. Scheels to start followed by Coconut Bowl with the kids and lunch at Grimaldi's. Not a bad way to spend a morning.
I also have to say that as a still relatively new firearms owner, with only CA as a reference point, the trip to Reno was eye opening.Comment
