    First time purchase from a out of state?

    So i'm looking into purchasing a NIB rifle from someone in NJ. What is the best way for me to approach this without getting scammed? I know that the rifle has to be shipped from his FFL to my FFL. Is there any recommendations as far as payment methods or when to send money?
