    Vallejo gun show today and tomorrow

    I went in at about 945am. No lines. There were two booth selling bulk ammo. I forget the name of the first one, but the other of course was Milwall from Grass Valley. No lines there and I bought my .22LR, 50rd boxes. Two box limits however. 50rd boxes for $12.95. No lines there either. People were at the booth but looking and some buying. I looked around and they had the popular 5.56mm, .22LR which I got. The 22LR, 50rd box was $12.95. Limited to 2 boxes of that stuff. I looked and they had plenty of the Russian 7.62X54R which they had a couple weeks ago at the Cow Palace.
    Gun show opens at 9am. Surprised there were just a few people at the Milwall booth and some of the sales people standing around drinking coffee.
    One vendor had a Bushmast 5.56mm, AR15 with the A2 solid stock for $1099!
    So I think prices will be or are coming down on those.
    Just wanted to mention this if anyone was thinking about going.

    Bushmasters have been showing up for a couple weeks now for somewhat less than that.

      But no giant lines to get in or at Miwall's booth.
      Interesting...

        FYI - none of the vendors at this show are selling standard capacity magazine rebuild kits! Evidently the promoter or venue management insisted on no mag rebuild kits sales.
        WTF?

          Probably because of SF sueing people over them:

            When I was at the Milwall booth, I stood by the counter and waited to grab someone's attention to help me. There were 4 or 5 people and 2 or 3 of them were standing around. I counted for giggles, about 12-15 people standing near the counters. This was on all 4 sides. Most of them were just looking.
            Crossroads of the West holds the big one in SF and in Ontario, Del Mar and Costa Mesa. Code of the west holds the ones in Vallejo and T&S holds the real small ones(terrible; about 12 tables) in San Jose and Antioch fairgrounds.

              I was wrong about the 22LR. I got another box today of Wichester/22LR/40gr./1435 FPS/hyper velocity for $12.95 for 100rounds, not 50.
              I looked at other ammo;
              Winchester/5.56mm/55gr./ $589.95/1000rounds
              in bulk black ammo cans;
              30cal/110gr./$109.95/250 rounds

              9mm/reload/ 125gr./167.95/500 rounds. don't know if those are good prices or not. I do have a 9mm but not the others.

              I had to get the Milwall guy's attention to get the ammo I had in my hand. I counted about 12 people around the booth. Got in at 910am. only about 30 cars in the lot. course $20-parking and admin.

                  Yikes! Since when did people start accepting the fact that .22LR at 13 cents per round is a good deal!?! It was 3 cents per round before the insanity started.

                    Whoa! With parking and admission that's a rip off. I'm glad I didn't go.

                      Lost interest in the story right there. I paid roughly the equivalent of $7-8 per100 the other day.

                        I paid 23.99 with 5 dollar shipping for 525 rounds of Remington Golden Bullets. I just don't understand why they would charge so much for ammo when I can sit on my behind and have some shipped to my house.
