    What is this ammo/caliber?

Hey guys...quick question here. I came upon some old centerfire ammo. It has "HXP 74" stamped on the case. Doing a search, it appears to be Greek ammo, possibly 30.06. Can anybody provide anything else that may help me? I am not at home so I cannot compare it with my other Garand ammo. Thanks in advance.

I am relatively new to the rifle game. I have shot plenty of .223 and shotguns, but other calibers are somewhat foreign to me.

Oh, one more thing. They are packaged on 5 round stripper type clips.

The HXP 74 is most likely a Greek headstamp. I've seen HXP .30-06 in 20 rd boxes and loaded in M1 Garand clips, but the 5 rd stripper clip is a new one.

Possibly 7.62 x 51? Could you measure the case length? .30-06 would be 63 mm 7.62X51 would be 51mm
