Most of the further discussion beyond the clear concise answer is usually people just trying to convince others that the Penal Code/Case Law doesn't really apply because their uncle's friend's cousin's son-in-law works as a gardener for a retired judge from another state who might or might not have said he doesn't think it applies to a certain case that has absolutely nothing to do with the question the OP asked.

I get to walk into a gun store and walk out same day without a wait and without having to wait for a background check to be submitted here in AZ with my CCW Permit

Figured since this was a random piss and moan thread I would remind you how good those of us that live in the USA have it.

"Moms Demand Action" sounds less like a gun control group and more like the title of a porn flick from the mid-90s.

Yeah...that they do, but then again if you want to carry here you don't need a permit at all. I only got mine for the few areas that you "need" a permit to carry (restaurants, driving through school zones, etc) and the added benefit of saving myself 5 minutes every time I pick up a new firearm, although the one time I bought a gun before getting the permit I just stood at the counter and fondled my new toy while I waited.

I found the best thing to do when I was still in CA was to order all my accessories and extra mags while waiting the 10 days, so I had everything by the time I could pick it up. That 10 day wait never got easier, despite doing dozens of them while living there.

I will suggest not looking at reviews of your new purchase while waiting. I did that twice and was second guessing my purchase up until I shot it the first time when I did that.

I'll be happy just to see a day when I can get a LTC in the county of my choosing in California.

Sounds like you need some time to cool off, 10 days should be enough cool off time.

Your pretty darn lucky if you get a ccw in CA. PPl trip out that you can get a permit here. They think if you can pass that background you have top secret clearance...OP I dont think that will ever happen... sadly.

Cali is good for geography, attractive women, and weather - in that order.

Anything 2nd Amendment related sadly will only get worse. It seems all we can do is fight all these new bs feel good laws that the sheeple are supporting - these sheeple don't realize laws only limit or constrict those who follow them - ie. not criminals..

Soon after LTC becomes "shall issue" your wish will be granted.

Sorry, but there aren't enough people in your situation to change it right now.

AZ, MI, UT and others cash and carry with CCW. Nice but I don't have to have it today very often. Some day I will leave this state with a smile on my face. Now if the lottery would just cooperate. Lol
