    Strange thoughts...

In some odd parallel world, if someone could create new guns and render all existing guns into a state that couldn't kill or hurt anything (I know, oxymoron), would there be a political need to ban guns/ammo? If there isn't such a need, what would the politicans run around banning instead?

They have them. They are made by Nerf. They aren't banned.

If Saint Peter himself came down and blew his golden trumpet and removed every gun from the planet - from tiny little NAA Mini 22LR, black powder, and even the big naval guns aboard the navy's cruisers I'm willing to bet everything I own that with-in 24-hours Los Angeles will have recorded the first drive-by spear chucking and the first stop-n-rob held up with a crossbow.

It is the nature of man to prey on the weak, to kill, to murder, to rape, and steal. Firearms are but a tool used by both sides of the battle - the good for self-protection and the evil for the exploitation of the weak.

Not so fast im sure some gated community somewhere has decided children can't play with Nerf weapons. Hell im sure CA is one step away from leaving children with only Nerf White Flags.

Wasn't there an elementary school kid expelled, maybe just suspended, for stealing another kids pokemon cards at nerf point?

Not to be picky, but would that not be Gabrial with the horn? but in any case, you are probably correct.
